Cabré Arabian is located in San Jose, California. Our ranch was informally established in 1997 when we aquired our first mare, JD HUCKS GRANDGAL, from the Johnson family in Morgan Hill, California. HUCKS GRANDGAL is a pretty mare, modest in stature but with intelligent eyes, exceptional soundness and health and an impressive pedigree tracing back to such notables as HUCKLEBERRY BEY++, *NABORR, and *WITEZ II.
Nicknamed "Argo" after the ship of Greek legend, Cabré Equine's "foundation mare" soon proved too hot for the show ring and decided to "try her hoof" as a broodmare instead. In an effort to temper Argo's fiery personality, we chose a stallion who not only had an impressive pedigree of his own (FAME VF+ x SIDS MARJURI, a *SIDI-BRAHIM daughter), but also had an exceptional gentleness and willing nature. The result was CABRE ROMEO, a beautiful bay colt who will begin his formal training in the summer of 2003.
WHAT'S NEW: Stay tuned for pictures of Cabré Arabian's newest addition, CABRE SIRIUS REX. Also out of JD HUCKS GRANDGAL, REX was sired by the beautiful stallion REXSEYN, a BARRISTER REX son out of the Crabbet bred mare, RAMISEYNA.
